About Mark Green
Ambassador Green (ret.) was elected to four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from January 1999 to January 2007, representing Wisconsin’s Eighth District. He served as Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) from 2017 to 2020, and as U.S. Ambassador to Tanzania from 2007 to 2009.
Green has also served in leadership positions at several prominent institutions, including Managing Director of Malaria No More (2009-2011), Senior Director at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (2011-2013), President and Chief Executive Officer of the Initiative for Global Development (2013-2014), and President of the International Republican Institute (2014-2017).
