Arctic Development: Shared Solutions for Shared Challenges
The challenges facing the Arctic are often addressed in an Arctic-specific setting among regional specialists, minimizing the impact of the discussion. In order to rectify this, the panel will bring together those working in the US government and research institutes to share best practices for sustainable development in the Arctic. The panel’s objective is to bridge the north-south divide and consider climate change, energy security, and regional governance in developing the Arctic region.
