A Conversation with Mexico's Former Secretary of Economy and Current Federal Deputy Ildefonso Guajardo
The Mexico Institute hosted Mexico’s former Secretary of Economy and current federal deputy Ildefonso Guajardo at the Wilson Center on Wednesday, August 16.
Dr. Guajardo discussed the process to be used by the opposition coalition, the Frente Amplio por Mexico, to select its 2024 presidential candidate and the coalition’s plans for governing, if elected. Given his past role, Dr. Guajardo also commented on the implementation of USMCA and will share his views on the future of US-Mexico bilateral relations. This presentation was followed by a question-and-answer session.
