Overview
The Wilson Center’s Africa Program and the South Africa-Washington International Program proudly present, “Driving the African Century: Youth, Technology, and Entrepreneurship.” This event will focus on the prospects for African economic growth in the 21st century. Speakers will include the South African Ambassador to the United States, members of business, civil society, and international governance communities, along with current SAWIP students. Three panels will discuss “Africa's Possibilities in 2023,” “Business, Technology, & Entrepreneurship in Africa,” and “Impact Investing, Social Enterprises, & Innovators in Africa,” allowing for discussion amongst those actively involved in Africa’s growth.

The Africa Program works to address the most critical issues facing Africa and US-Africa relations, build mutually beneficial US-Africa relations, and enhance knowledge and understanding about Africa in the United States.
