About the Curator, Judith Varney Burch
Judith Varney Burch is an Inuit art specialist, lecturer, and curator. She curated “Culture on Cloth: Baker Lake Wall Hangings” currently on exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution’s S. Dillon Ripley Center. Burch is a research collaborator at the Smithsonian’s Arctic Studies Center and a board member of the Nunavut Arts and Crafts Association.
