More than Revenue: Taxation as a Development Tool
The Wilson Center and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) are pleased to present the 2013 edition of the IDB’s flagship series, Development in the Americas (DIA). Entitled More than Revenue, this year’s DIA describes taxation in Latin America and the Caribbean as a missed opportunity. It advocates converting distortionary, inadequate and regressive tax systems into allies of economic growth, mobility and social equality.
