Politics, Security, and Extremism in Bangladesh and Policy Implications for the Trump Administration
Bangladesh, situated in volatile South Asia, is often overlooked in Washington despite its turbulent political environment and troubling levels of extremism. How do Bangladeshis feel about their country and its future direction? What future trends might drive politics and security in Bangladesh? And what can and should be the role of Washington and the international development community in Bangladesh? This event, which draws in part on a new survey conducted by Democracy International, will address these questions and others.
Light refreshments will be available.
