U.S. Film Premier: Under One Sky
Exploring Moscow and Chicago through the lens of aspiring U.S. and Russian documentary filmmakers The Kennan Institute, in cooperation with Eurasia Foundation, invites you to the U.S. premier of the collaborative documentary Under One Sky. Crafted by documentary film students from the Moscow-based Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) and the U.S.-based Loyola University Chicago, Under One Sky was produced with support from Eurasia Foundation in 2017. During production of this collaborative film, the students traveled to each other’s countries to explore various topics relevant to residents of both Moscow and Chicago. The screening will be followed by a Q&A featuring two of the film creators: from Loyola University Chicago, School of Communication Professor John Goheen and School of Communication Former Graduate Student Jeffrey Chow.
