Abraham Denmark, Director of the Wilson Center’s Asia Program and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for East Asia, joined Congresswoman Jane Harman, President, Director, and CEO of the Wilson Center to discuss themes from his forthcoming book, such as U.S.-China competition and the importance of U.S. alliances in Asia, particularly in a post-coronavirus world. The book, titled U.S. Strategy in the Asian Century: Empowering Allies and Partners, has already received international accolades and recognition from leaders in the intelligence, defense, and policy communities.
