Where is the Data, and Why Does it Matter?

This event postponed until further notice.

To get to where we want to go, we have to know where we are.

The Women in Public Service Project is using data, technology and communications to measure and report on progress towards achieving equal participation. This includes identifying the best data and evidence, and analyzing this data, as well as policies that impact women’s ability to assume leadership positions in sectors across the globe.

On Monday, November 14, join WPSP Director Gwen K. Young for a panel discussion with experts on the data-driven movement for gender equality. Katja Iversen, CEO of Women Deliver and Kristin Hetle, former Director of Strategic Partnerships at UN Women will discuss why the data matters in measuring progress toward gender equality and how the data - or lack thereof - influences women's engagement in tackling global issues.
