Access Road: a road giving access to another road or a place
Airfield: a tundra, dirt, grass, or paved runway used by aircraft for takeoffs, landings, and maintenance
Airport: a complex of runways and buildings for the takeoff, landing, and maintenance of aircraft, with facilities for passengers
Attractions: a place of interest where tourists visit, typically for its natural or cultural value, historical significance, or natural or built beauty
Aviation: relating to the flying, operation, and maintenance of aircraft
Biomass energy: the use of organic material to generate energy
Bridge: a structure carrying a road, path, railroad, or canal across a river, ravine, road, railroad, or other obstacle
Broadband: telecommunications services that provide multiple channels of data over a single communications medium, typically using some form of frequency or wave division multiplexing
Building: relating to built structures, typically with a roof and walls
Container terminal: a facility where cargo containers are transshipped between different transportation vehicles for onward transportation
Cruise (passenger) terminal: a facility at a port enabling passengers to embark and debark water vessels such as ferries, cruise ships, and ocean liners
Cultural center: an organization, building, or complex that promotes culture and the arts
Data center: a group of networked computer servers typically used by organizations for the remote storage, processing, or distribution of large amounts of data.
Electricity generation: the process of generating electric power from sources of primary energy
Energy: relating to the generation and distribution of power and/or electricity
Ferry: a boat or ship for conveying passengers and goods, especially over a relatively short distance and as a regular service.
Fiber optic cable: a high-speed data transmission cable, similar to an electrical cable, but containing one or more optical fibers used to carry light
Freight: goods transported in bulk by truck, rail, ship, or aircraft
Gemstone: a precious or semiprecious stone, especially one cut, polished, and used in a piece of jewelry.
Geothermal energy: energy obtained by tapping underground reservoirs of heat, usually near volcanoes or other hot spots on the surface of the Earth
Highway: a main road, especially one connecting major cities or towns
Hospital: an institution providing medical and surgical treatment and nursing care for sick or injured people
Hotel: an establishment providing accommodations, meals, and other services for travelers and tourists
Housing: buildings where people reside
Hydro energy: energy derived from falling or fast-moving water
Ice road: a temporary winter road built on ice or snow
Icebreaker: a ship designed for breaking a channel through ice
Ice-class vessel: a strengthened vessel capable of operating in ice-covered waters
Improvements/rehab: the improvement, widening, surfacing, or the locating of additional structures upon any existing road
Industrial district: a place where workers and firms, specialized in a main industry and auxiliary industries, live and work
Industry: relating to economic activity concerned with the processing of raw materials and manufacture of goods in factories
Laboratory: a room or building equipped for scientific experiments, research, or teaching, or for the manufacture of drugs or chemicals
LNG terminal: a facility for liquefying or regasifying liquefied natural gas (LNG)
Logistics center: a facility to support aircraft repair and maintenance
Malls: a large building or series of connected buildings containing a variety of retail stores and typically also restaurants
Marine: relating to economic activities taking place at sea
Metals: a solid material that is typically hard, shiny, malleable, fusible, and ductile, with good electrical and thermal conductivity
Mill: a building fitted with machinery for a manufacturing process
Minerals: a solid chemical compound that occurs naturally in pure form, commonly associated with rocks
Mining: relating to the process or industry of obtaining metals, minerals, or other geologic materials from the Earth
Navigational aid (ATON): any device external to a vessel or aircraft specifically intended to assist navigators in determining their position or safe course, or to warn them of dangers or obstructions to navigation
Nuclear: relating to nuclear reactions that release nuclear energy to generate heat
Oil & gas field: a tract of land used for extracting petroleum or natural gas from the ground
Oil terminal: an industrial facility for the storage of oil and/or petrochemical products and from which these products are usually transported to end users or further storage facilities
Passenger: a traveler on a public or private conveyance, distinct from the driver, pilot, or crew
Pipeline: a long pipe, typically but not exclusively buried underground, for conveying liquid or gaseous substances over long distances
Plant: a place where an industrial or manufacturing process takes place
Port of unloading: a place where a vessel unloads or discharges some or all of its shipments
Processing facility: an industrial facility for separating commercially valuable minerals from their ores
Public Investment: the money that a government spends on public services or projects
Rail: relating to the transportation of passengers or goods via railroad tracks
Recreation: activity done for enjoyment
Renewable energy: energy from a source that is not depleted when used
Research station: a facility that is built for the purpose of conducting or supporting scientific research
Road: a long, hard surface built for vehicles to travel along
Runway: a long, level piece of ground with a specially prepared smooth, hard surface on which aircraft take off and land
School: a place where children go to be educated
Search-and-rescue: the search for and provision of aid to people who are in distress or imminent danger
Sewage: relating to the network of pipes, pumps, and force mains for the collection of wastewater, or sewage, from a community
Shopping center: an area or complex of stores with adjacent parking
Smelter: an installation or factory for smelting a metal from its ore
Solar energy: radiant light and heat from the Sun that is harnessed using a range of technologies such as solar heating, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, molten salt power plants and artificial photosynthesis
Submarine cable: a cable laid on the sea bed between land-based stations to carry telecommunication signals across stretches of ocean and sea
Telecommunications: relating to communication over a distance by cable, telegraph, telephone, or broadcasting
Terminal: a building at an airport where passengers transfer between ground transportation and the facilities that allow them to board and disembark from an aircraft
Tidal energy: energy obtained from the cyclical rise and fall of sea levels
Toll road: a road that drivers must pay to use
Tourism: relating to the commercial organization and operation of vacations and visits to places of interest
Trade: relating to the transfer of goods or services from one person or entity to another, often in exchange for money
Transmission line: a conductor or conductors designed to carry electricity or an electrical signal over large distances with minimum losses and distortion.
Water: relating to the source, means, or process of supplying water usually including reservoirs, tunnels, and pipelines
Wind energy: energy derived from the movement of air through the Earth’s atmosphere
