Tackling Methane Emissions in Latin America
"Advancing collaboration among our countries to promote renewable energies will benefit the region. In practice, the most cost-effective way to mitigate methane is simply to not consume fossil fuels. Shifting from natural gas and oil consumption to electrification will lower emissions and also provide access to lower transportation, heating, and industrial energy costs."
