Tverlandet School

The new Tverlandet School will merge the current two schools at Tverlandet in Bodø municipality to a joint, new school building for 1st — 10th years. When pupils arrive for the first day of school in 2019 at the new Tverlandet school, it will have room for 750 pupils from the first to tenth years. 9,400 m2 across two storeys will allow for three classes for each year, all of the required functionality, and a new gymnasium. Veidekke Entreprenør has signed a contract with Bodø municipality to build the new Tverlandet school, which will be the first school in Bodø to be built as a passive house.
