Abdelsalam Akkad

AbdelSalam Akkad completed his Communications Arts degree in 1995 with a minor in advertising design and has assumed several positions within the TV and film making industry since then. His positions ranged from director of photography, to producer and director. Abdelsalam has worked for Future TV, Orbit-Showtime, NBN, as well as a producer on numerous TV ads, corporate videos and TV programs for Arabic TV networks. On documentaries, AbdelSalam has freelanced with several international news organizations including Reuters, BBC, ITN, Channel 4, RDF, WDR, ABC Australia, AlJazeera and AlJazeera English.
