Abdullah Khateeb, 29, is a civil and environmental engineer and peace activist from Bethlehem, Palestinian Territories. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Water Engineering, Abdullah is passionate about using his expertise to address pressing water challenges and foster collaboration in conflict regions.

Abdullah is an alumnus of several peacebuilding organizations and has actively contributed to initiatives promoting environmental sustainability, renewable energy integration, and cross-border cooperation. His work focuses on developing innovative water conservation solutions and tackling resource scarcity in arid regions.

 

Reflecting on his role in society, Abdullah often asks himself, “Am I a product of society, merely accepting the world as it is, or is society a product of me, shaped by my actions to create a better future for everyone?” Guided by this question, he believes in the transformative power of youth engagement, dialogue, and collective action to build a more equitable and sustainable world.
