Full Biography
Aimar Ventsel has a higher education in fields of ethnology and history. He has received a Ph.D. in ethnology at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology and Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. Aimar has worked at numerous positions in many academic institutions both in Estonia and abroad and contributed through articles and chapters to a range of scientific publications. He is a member of the domestic interinstitutional working group for the Arctic Council observer application of Estonia.
