Alejandro Catterberg is the President and Co-Founder of Poliarquia Consultores, a leading political consulting and polling company. Previously, he was the Executive Director of Catterberg & Asociados, a survey research firm. He started his professional career at the Law and Economics Consulting Group, Inc. (LECG) focusing on economic and regulatory research. He has worked on numerous electoral campaigns for legislative and executive offices and has developed several social situation indicators, such as the Consumer Confidence Index in Argentina, the Trust in Government Index, and Citizen Safety Index. In addition, he has led more than 200 research projects on political, social, and market issues. Frequently consulted by major national and international media outlets, he is considered one of the leading Argentine pollsters and political analysts. Over the past decade, his firm has accurately forecasted more than 20 national and local elections. He holds a Master’s in Quantitative Methods in Social Sciences from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Economics along with graduate studies at the University of Torcuato Di Tella. He has served as a professor of economics at the University of Buenos Aires and as a visiting professor for the MBA and Executive MBA programs at the University of Torcuato Di Tella.
