Full Biography
Alex Mirrer is a senior at Yale pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in both Global Affairs and Humanities. Her studies focus on national security with an emphasis on great power competition, as well as philosophy and historical and political thought.
Her research spans both the Global Affairs and Humanities disciplines. She currently studies the influence of Chinese loans and foreign aid on voting patterns in the United Nations General Assembly. Within the Humanities, she investigates the philosophy and history behind the appeal of private clubs.
In addition to her studies at Yale, Alex interns with Decisive Point, a venture capital firm investing in critical technologies for defense, energy and infrastructure.
Alex will be joining Jefferies after graduation as an investment banking analyst on the Debt Advisory and Restructuring team.
