Full Biography
Amat Alsoswa has over 25 years of experience in human rights, governance, gender equality, and development. She served as Yemen's first female Minister of Human Rights, Ambassador to the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark, and numerous other government posts. Alsoswa participated in Yemen's National Dialogue Conference, and she worked for over six years as UN Assistant Secretary General and Regional Director of the Arab States Bureau.
