Ambassador Märt Volmer

Märt Volmer has obtained a higher education in fields of diplomacy and business. He has served at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in various positions for almost thirty years. Between 2015-2019 he was Estonian Ambassador to Denmark. Märt Volmer is the Undersecretary for European Affairs since January 2020. He is the head of the domestic interinstitutional working group for the Arctic Council observer application of Estonia.
