Anahi Hurtado is a student at the George Washington University, expecting to graduate in 2019. She is a Political Communication major and a Journalism and Mass Communications minor in the School of Media and Public Affairs. As well as being part of the Argentina Project, Anahi is currently the Graphic, Design, and Operations Intern at the GW Hillel and a reporter for the GW Hatchet. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, proficient in Portuguese, and has an elementary-level knowledge of American Sign Language. In the past, Anahi has worked on a research project with the New York Times En Español and interned for the Hillary for America campaign, Revolution Messaging, and the Democratic National Committee. Her articles have been featured on the front page of the GW Hatchet and shared on Twitter by Former First Lady Michelle Obama.
