Armando Garza Sada is Chairman of the Board at Grupo ALFA. Born in 1957, he joined ALFA in 1978. He was President of Versax and of Sigma. Also, he held executive positions at ALFA, Polioles and Selther. Mr. Garza Sada is member of the boards of ALFA, FEMSA, Gigante, Liverpool, Lamosa, CYDSA, Frisa, ITESM, MVS and The Mexican Stock Exchange. 

He has been chairman of CAINTRA (Nuevo Leon State Manufacturing Industry Chamber) and the Private Sector Industrial and Economic Council. He studied Industrial Engineering at MIT and earned an MBA from Stanford University.
