Expert Bio

Carol Ngongang is a Staff Assistant Intern with the Wilson Center’s Africa Program. At the University of Maryland, Carol is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Resource Economics, with a concentration on Environmental and Resource Economics. Additionally, she is minoring in International Development and Conflict Management. Being a first-generation Cameroonian American has given Carol a dual perspective on African relations, thus driving her passion for involvement in Francophone Africa. She hopes to work in international environmental policy—specifically focusing on sustainable development and natural resource management on the continent.
