Full Biography
Carrie Domnitch is a Manager of Federal Government Affairs supporting Chevron’s Americas Exploration and Production in Washington, DC. In her role, she manages federal legislative and regulatory matters impacting Americas Exploration and Production’s four U.S. business units, including the company’s significant portfolio assets in the Gulf of Mexico and the Permian Basin, as well as the Canada business unit, and represents Chevron on Capitol Hill and before the administration. Carrie joined Chevron in January 2021.
Prior to joining Chevron, Carrie spent a decade at the American Petroleum Institute (API) as a Vice President and Senior Director of Federal Relations, leading a team of lobbyists representing the entire oil and natural gas industry before Congress and the Executive Branch. She also served as the principal upstream segment lobbyist her entire tenure and achieved significant accomplishments for the industry during varying political environments. Carrie also represented the American Chemistry Council as a Director of Federal Affairs.
Carrie got her start in Washington, DC on Capitol Hill working for Representative Mike Bilirakis and then for her hometown Member, Representative Thelma Drake, as her Chief of Staff and Legislative Director.
Carrie earned a bachelor’s degree in government from the University of Virginia in 2001 and is a diehard UVA sports fan. She lives in Arlington, VA with her husband, three daughters and yellow lab and can be found on the sidelines of soccer, lacrosse and field hockey fields and basketball courts cheering on her girls.
