Catherine Andrews obtained her Ph.D. in Mexican History at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland in 2001. Her principal lines of research are in Mexican constitutional history and the history of feminist thought. Her most recent book is De Cádiz a Querétaro. Historiografía y bibliografía del constitucionalismo mexicano (CIDE/Fondo de Cultura Económica, 2017). She is Professor in the History Division of the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) in Mexico City.
