Expert Bio

Dr. Gabriele Goldfuss was born in Nuremberg in 1963 and studied philosophy, sinology, and theology in Tübingen, Beijing, and Paris. She gained her Ph.D. in sinology, and from 1994 worked as a lecturer at the University of Leipzig. Since 2001, she has been Head of the Office for International Affairs of the City of Leipzig, where she is in charge of the European and international activities of the City of Leipzig, including partnerships with other cities and the Visitors’ Program for Former Jewish Leipzigers and their Descendants.
