Dr. Natalia Kutaeva

Dr Natalia Kutaeva is Counsellor to the Director of Marine Rescue Service (MRS), under theMinistry of Transport of the Russian Federation. She is also Co-Chair of the Joint Planning Group for Russia-U.S. Joint Marine Pollution Contingency Plan (JCP).   For more than two decades, she has been head of delegation for Russia in various international maritime bodies, such as the Marine Environmental Protection Committee of the International Maritime Organization and the Emergency Preparedness Prevention and Response working group of the Arctic Council. Dr. Kutaeva also brings her expertise to the Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission (HELCOM), the Black Sea Protection Commission, and the North-West Pacific Action Plan (NOWPAP).
