Dr. Ernesto Calvo is a professor and the associate chair of the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is the author of Anatomίa polίtca de Twitter en Argentina and Legislative Success in Fragmented Congresses in Argentina. His research has also been published in the American Journal of Political Science, The Journal of Politics, World Politics, The British Journal of Political Science and other major journals in Latin America, Europe and the United States. Dr. Calvo is the recipient of the Lawrence Longley Award and the Leubbart Best Article Award from the American Political Science Association. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in political science from Universidad de Buenos Aires.
