Expert Bio

Evan Carpenter studied anthropology at Brigham Young University, where he began experimenting with ethnographic filmmaking. He went on to become a documentary film editor and worked on many movies and TV shows including the Academy Award-nominated short film “White Earth,” “Iron Cowboy” (Netflix, Amazon), “The Piece Maker” (Discovery), and the upcoming historical drama “Tamerlane.” “Artifact War” is his first time directing a feature-length documentary.
