Heather is an experienced and trusted entrepreneur, multi-dimensional business and public policy advisor, and farmer. She owned and operated Right Strategies, an executive consulting company, and with her husband Ryan owns and operates Boundary Road Farm & Ranch, a diverse farming operation where they also raise their four young children.

Since 2007 Heather has been a key advisor to some of Canada’s most influential public policy makers at both federal and provincial levels of government. Today, she works closely with the industry leaders making important investment decisions affecting our economy as a Vice President at TD Securities and as the Executive Director of the Council of Women CEOs and the Women's Business Council of Alberta. As a Director of She Leads Canada, Heather actively works with women running for and holding public office, and was appointed by the Alberta Government to a quasi-judicial board where she served as a hearing Chairwoman, panel member and legal decision writer. Heather is comfortable working in both of Canada’s official languages; she is active in her rural community where she sits on several volunteer boards, including the Women in Capital Market’s Alberta Steering Committee, and the TDS Working Parents Committee. Heather initiated the Western Canadian chapter of Women in Leadership at TD Securities.
