State Image and the Framing of Foreign Policy in Crisis Situations

Project Summary

The process of foreign policy decision-making in situations of crisis interaction is connected with the peculiarities of state images, constructed by the major political actors. There is an assumption that state image determines the formation of the issue framing reference or evaluation point which are associated with the particular situation
