Kevin Stockert

Kevin Stockert serves as a Senior Legislative Assistant for Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D-Oregon), Chairman of the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade. In that role, he oversees a legislative portfolio covering agriculture, animal welfare, energy tax, environment, and financial services issues. Prior to joining Congressman Blumenauer’s team, he served as a Legislative Aide for Senator Patty Murray (D-Washington), a senior member of Democratic Leadership and Ranking Member of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee. A native of Illinois, Kevin graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a B.A. in political science and environmental studies and has completed the Wilson Center’s Foreign Policy Fellowship Program.
