Laurel Aiyaapin Katchatag is an Inupiaq woman from Unalakleet, Alaska. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Biology from North Park University in 2018. She was part of the 2017-2019 Arctic Youth Ambassadors cohort and participated in the Arctic Youth Summit and SDWG's Project CREATeS in 2019. Laurel is a member of the Arctic Youth Network but spends most of her time working in Administration at Norton Sound Health Corporation in Nome Alaska, a tribal healthcare non-profit. She takes pride in all of her nieces and nephews, hoping to create a sustainable and equitable future for them.
