Leticia Phillips is a forward-thinking executive with more than 15 years of experience and a track record of leveraging expertise in international trade policy, advocacy, and partnership building to achieve key business goals for her clients in the U.S. and abroad.
Among her business experience, Leticia led advocacy campaigns, on behalf of Brazilian sugarcane ethanol, before the U.S. government, Congress, and other stakeholders that culminated in the historic elimination of the 30-year-old U.S. tariff on imported ethanol.
Valued for her extensive experience advancing major policy issues in complex business
environments, Leticia delivers the insight needed to guide executive decision- making,
and develops and executes strategies that boost the footprint and revenue of organizations she represents. Leticia provides strategic advise to the top private sector trade association in Brazil, as well as some of the largest agricultural and energy providers in the country. Some of her clients also include major service providers in the health services, retail, education, and banking industries. Recognized as a polished communicator and negotiator, highly skilled in advocating effectively before Congress, state legislators, government officials and the media, Leticia is an expert on Brazil-US relations and fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Leticia holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from American University. A
dual citizens of the United States and Brazil, Leticia navigates in both countries’ political
and business scenes with ease on a daily basis. Leticia maintains her office in Washington, DC where she resides with her husband and two children.
