Full Biography
Luis Manual Hernandez is the current President of index Nacional (the National Council of the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry). Index represents the interests of maquiladora and export-manufacturing companies at the federal level of the Mexican government while likewise keeping partner companies informed of current industry standards and regulations. Hernandez has built his career as a finance executive with corporate tax, customs compliance, and lean manufacturing expertise. He studied to become a public accountant at the UABC Mexicali before obtaining a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Business from Atlantic International University in the United States.
