Expert Bio

Luke Sherlock is a Head of China Engagement at C40 Cities, a network of the world’s megacities committed to addressing climate change. He set up and is responsible for the C40 China Buildings Programme after previously leading the C40 Municipal Building Efficiency Network, supporting cities to drive energy efficiency in the buildings they control. Before his work at C40, Luke held roles in developing and implementing energy management and sustainability strategies in social housing, hospitality, and retail sectors. He holds a Masters degree in Environmental Policy and a Bachelors degree in Geography, both from the University of Oxford.
