Full Biography
Neca Setubal is a renowned sociologist with a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo) and a Master's in Political Science from USP (University of São Paulo). She is a prolific author, having written numerous books, articles, and reviews.
Her career includes significant roles in educational and social policy. Neca served as the Coordinator of Education for Latin America and the Caribbean at UNICEF, where she played a key role in shaping educational policies across the region. Additionally, she was the President of the Board of Directors at CENPEC (Center for Studies and Research in Education, Culture, and Community Action) and GIFE (Group of Institutes, Foundations, and Companies). She also contributed as a commentator on CNN.
Currently, Neca Setubal is the President of the Board of Directors at Fundação Tide Setubal, a role in which she continues to influence social and educational policies. She is also a columnist for Folha de São Paulo and serves on various other boards, leveraging her extensive experience and expertise in furthering discussions and actions in the realms of education and social policies.
