Full Biography

Nandini Raisurana is a Staff Assistant Intern at the Refugee and Forced Displacement Initiative. She is committed to amplifying the voices of marginalized communities and advocating for human rights. Her primary research interests include refugee/ immigrant integration, forced displacement and human rights violations, democracy, and decolonization.

Nandini's educational journey and global travels have fostered a passion for diverse perspectives. She grew up in Mumbai, India, spent a year studying international relations at the London School of Economics (LSE) in the UK and is currently completing her BA in Political Science and Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond in Virginia where she holds a full-ride merit scholarship.
