Expert Bio

Colonel Pamela Stein is a US Air Force Foreign Area Officer specializing in Indo-Pacific region affairs. She has a background in engineering acquisition and military intelligence. She previously represented the US Air Force as the Air Attaché to Myanmar (Burma) from 2018-2021. Prior to becoming the Wilson Center Air Force Fellow, Col Stein served at the Defense Intelligence Agency. Her responsibilities included conducting conventional weapons effects analysis and advising the Director for Analysis on military integration issues.
