Paula Bernasconi

Paula Bernasconi coordinates the Economic Incentives for Conservation Program at Instituto Centro de Vida (ICV) in Mato Grosso, Brazil. She has 13 years experience working with projects promoting the conciliation of economic development, social justice and environmental conservation, involving multiple stakeholders, such as landowners, indigenous communities, government representatives, industry and international actors. Her focus is on ecosystem services policies such as REDD+ and on supply chain efforts to eliminate deforestation with transparency and accountability. Paula holds a Bachelor in Environmental Management (ESALQ-USP) and a Master Degree in Economic Development (UNICAMP).
