Full Biography
Rick Zak is the Director of Justice & Public Safety Solutions for Microsoft’s US State & Local Government organization. He works with government agencies to identify opportunities to improve operational execution and with technology partners to develop new solutions. Rick is also a firefighter and disaster first responder. In addition to participating in many national and local disaster response exercises he went to Joplin, Missouri after the May, 2011 tornado to support the Missouri Disaster Medical Team’s deployment of a 60-bed mobile medical unit.
Rick has an MBA from the University of Chicago with a double concentration in Finance and Marketing and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
