"School for Girls" is under the leadership of Shannon Taylor, an EMMY award-winning filmmaker (NATASPSW). Shannon runs her own production company, Taylor Way Productions and serves as the Head of Production at Halogen Cinema, both based in San Diego. Her diverse portfolio includes feature films, commercials, TV pilots, documentaries, TV programs, social media content, vertical dramas, virtual events, and live telethons. Her work has reached audiences through Primetime TV, local TV, YouTube, social media platforms, film festivals worldwide, and has trended on X (formerly Twitter). Shannon has collaborated with top brands like Netflix, Live Nation, Adidas, ClickUp, Reelshort, ZoomInfo, and Alta. Notably, she produced ClickUp's flagship event, LevelUp, which trended globally on X and was praised for "redefining virtual events." After learning about the dire situation for women in Afghanistan, Shannon became deeply passionate about giving a voice to the voiceless through film. She hopes that "School for Girls" will not only bring awareness to the challenges these brave women face but also spark meaningful conversations and inspire solutions.
