Soviet Policies and Jewish Nationalism During World War II: The Jewish Antifascist Committee, 1942-1948

Project Summary

Examines the role of the Jewish Antifascist Committee (JAC) in the USSR from 1942-1948, and the role that the JAC played for the Soviet authorities in its war propaganda campaigns. Supposed to have influenced public opinion worldwide, this study determines the influence of the committee upon decision making among the allied governments in favor of the USSR.
