Thomas F. Stephenson

Thomas F. Stephenson is a General Partner of Sequoia Capital, a leading Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm. Before joining Sequoia in 1988, he spent twenty-two years with Fidelity Investments in Boston where he helped found Fidelity Ventures in the late 1960's. He is a graduate of Harvard College, AB 1964, Harvard Business School, MBA 1966, and Boston College Law School, JD 1969. Mr. Stephenson was active in the 2000 George W. Bush Presidential Campaign and currently serves as the Finance Chairman of the California Republican Party. He is a member of the Board of Overseers of the Hoover Institution, Finance Chairman of the Lincoln Club of Northern California, and very active in the affairs of Harvard University.
