Tiffany D. Barnes
Expert Bio
Tiffany D. Barnes is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Kentucky. She received her PhD from Rice University in 2012. She researches a range of topics including comparative political institutions, representation, corruption, gender and politics, and Latin American politics. Her book, Gendering Legislative Behavior (Cambridge University Press, 2016), won the Alan Rosenthal Prize from the Legislative Studies Section of the American Political Science Association in 2017. Her other peer-reviewed work appears in journals such as the American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, Comparative Political Studies, Political Research Quarterly, Governance, and Politics & Gender.
