Tom Marsden is the director for global development and business development at Dun & Bradstreet. Marsden helps federal government public health and safety organizations fulfill their missions through the effective use of D&B’s business information and data management capabilities. He is a 16-year veteran of D&B, having spent the past 10 years working in the government solutions unit and held prior roles as executive assistant to the EVP of strategic accounts and leader, electronic licensing business units.
Prior to joining Dun & Bradstreet, he was employed at Fidelity National Financial, the nation’s largest provider of real estate settlement and information solutions, where he held the position of group product manager and new business leader for the company’s collateral valuation and risk management product line.
Prior to joining Fidelity National, Marsden worked at Acxiom’s real property information unit where he led a strategic alliance with Freddie Mac to design, develop and market residential property information products.
Marsden was a director at Freddie Mac from 1994 through 1998 with responsibility for launching the GoldWorks, the mortgage industry’s first nationwide e-commerce service. He began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories in various roles involved with the development of interactive online services.
Marsden has a B.A. in English & Journalism from the State University of New York, and a M.S. in Information Management from Syracuse University. He resides in Washington, DC.
