Full Biography

Vidal Romero is a Professor in the Political Science Department at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), Co-Director of ITAM’s Center for the Study of Security, Intelligence and Governance (CESIG), and faculty affiliate at ITAM's Center on Energy and Natural Resources. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Stanford University. He was a visiting Tinker Professor at the Center for Latin American Studies at Stanford University and a Visiting Fellow at the Latin America and Caribbean Centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research investigates topics related to security and the political-economy of climate change; it has been published in different academic journals and books.
