Wendy Funes

Funes is an Honduran investigative journalist with a masters in criminology who focuses on issues related to Human Rights, security, justice, and white-collar organized crime. Founding Reportoros de Investigación, her investigations have been internationally recognized as having high impact, including the Guillermo Cano World Press Award, honorable mention of the FNPI Roche Award, and the Freedom of Expression Award of the London organization Index on Censorship.
