Africa and Twenty-First Century Development Challenges: The North-South Development Agenda Reconsidered
There is much debate today about North versus South development schemes and frameworks. What is effective? What works best in which context? This paper will examine key development indices in their presentation that are of common concern to Africa and the Global North, and then delve into several critical questions of development concerning the capacity of the African state to chart an alternative and autonomous developmental path.
