This community profile is part of a collaborative collection on hardware and the open science ecosystem. It provides a snapshot of the Open Source Hardware Association (OSHWA), highlighting member demographics, programming, funding, and what community management looks like.
The Open Source Hardware Association (OSHWA) hosts the Open Hardware Summit, houses the community definition of open source hardware (OSH), and runs a certification program, among other things. Together, these activities enable a community to rally around shared values and principles, and give users confidence when building and hacking on each others’ projects, providing continuity in this space.
